Fashion furniture DONNA took part in the industrial design week of DVRZ Design Days, which was curated by Larisa Tsybina and were held from August 18 to 27 in the Kyiv industrial zone at DVRZ. As part of the event, a series of lectures and master classes and an exhibition of modern design items took place.
The DONNA company presented at the DVRZ Design Days two objects that were created in collaboration with Ukrainian designers: KONYKY transformer poufs made at once by Natalia Filonenko, and RIPPLES by Denis Sokolov from SVOYA studio.
The products of the DONNA furniture company also participated in the exhibition part of the event. The designer Yuriy Zimenko was the author of the scenography. Our team was pleased that even very experienced and well-known designers were surprised by the emotionality and originality of the furniture we produce.
In particular, everyone was fascinated by the idea of KONYKY transformer pouf and its shape of a puzzle, which helps to create sofas and other soft areas by combining several ottomans.
We can safely say that KONYKY has become the number one object for research, and in a certain sense – also a selfie zone!
Visitors were no less surprised by the RIPPLES tables due to the combination of completely different materials in the composition of the table tops. As a result of the event, the DONNA company was able to establish relations with new design studios that seek to use functional and emotional objects in their interior projects. After all, we are interested in everything that can accelerate the rise of the Ukrainian furniture production to a level of worldwide recognition.
